Not good Enough?
Jul. 10th, 2004 04:27 amInterns... don't ask their opinions?
We did. Most gave us serious input. But this one guy, after a long rant peppered with sarcasm, gave a list of five demands...
1 - the tea that is served at 3 PM must be switched for his favorite type, and is must be changed to 2 and 5 PM.
2 - the back gate must be kept open all the time so he does not need to walk 40 yards (in the shade, across a garden) to the front door.
3 - the intern wages must be raised to match any and every price increase he meets with.
4 - the interns must receive books for free, so they don't have to buy books needed at college courses.
5 - the interns must be sent to seminars, workshops and similar events in coastal cities, so besides learning, they can spend a weekend ta the beach, without expenses.
Come monday, I will NOT be sad when i fill his termination papers...
